The second picture is amazingly painful looking. It definitely gives the viewer a bad feeling. I think the whole set of photos achieves this because they look more like someones personal pain rather than conveying a street corner or something. I love these!
i'm curious about the use of pins in so many of the photos. they made a very nice connecting element.
